About Joelle

Joelle Dwyer has a Master’s degree in Psychological Studies from the University of Glasgow and an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Lenoir-Rhyne University. As part of her psychology training, she studied psychometry, with a focus on the development of psychological assessments, along with cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, and related areas.  She combines her knowledge in psychology and healthcare administration to bring both clinical insight and organizational perspective to her work.

Joelle has several years of experience in the mental health field, where she received training in crisis prevention, client boundary management, risk assessment for escalating behaviors, and early crisis intervention. She also gained experience administering psychological assessments for ADD/ADHD. Through this work, she strengthened her ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Joelle’s commitment to this field is driven by her desire to help others. She values the role of psychological services, such as assessments, in providing individuals with the informed care necessary for growth and well-being. As a psychological professional, Joelle is guided by humanistic psychology and a person-centered approach to ensure her work is compassionate, attentive, and focused on the individual.
